Good versus Evil

Goodbadlucky

We all know who the good guys are: US, Canada, Europe, Australia. After all, we are the “First World Countries”. We’re the best. We have it all and whatever we say and do is good. Even if it's bombing houses and children.
These are the good words: Democracy, capitalism, dollars, business, Obama, McCain, Coalition Forces, Switzerland, Superman, Elmo, Big Bird, etc.

We also know who the bad guys are: Ahmadinejad, Ayatollahs and anyone with a turban, Chavez and anyone who objects to US policies, Hezbollah and anyone who objects to Israeli invasions, and all of them bad evil nasty people who burn flags and shout angry words, and have alliances with Lex Luther, Joker and perhaps the devil himself.

And then, there are the lucky ones:
The Iraqis and the Afghanis. They are lucky because we brought them Democracy. They are better off now. Before they had no burgers and no bikinis. But now they can have porn on the market and listen to music freely. Although those markets blow up everyday killing hundreds of innocent people, but then…hey…freedom of having porn is not free.
We sacrificed our children to save them from The Darth Vader of the region: Saddam. Although some of our kids turned into Siths in Abu Ghraib, but heck...it's war, what do you expect?

And then, there is you and I:
We are so privileged. We have Reuters, CBS, NBC, CNN and they are all good. Not to forget Fox News, thank God we have a fair and balanced news source.  If it weren’t for these sources, how would we know who is good and who is bad? Who is lucky and who is ugly? We should be grateful for this free press that tells us who’s right and who’s wrong.
For us who have no time to watch TV, here is a collage to sum it all up. In fact, put it on your wall as a reminder. The world is that simple: Good versus Bad; and thank goodness that we’re on the good side.

I'm assuming from what you reveal that you are a progressive liberal.  To all progressive liberals, now that you've determined who the good guys are, what do you suggest that we do to make the bad guys leave us alone?   Do you think that you can talk the bad guys into peaceful co-existence?

You do agree that the bad guys started it all by doing bad things against the good guys, don't you?  You do agree that the bad guys want a 6th century Mohammad inspired world don't you?  You do agree that the bad guys don't want any Jews or Christians, or any other religion in the world that disagrees with Mohammad's take on God; that there is only  their way, don't you?

I sincerely want to know what could be said to the bad guys that your opposition has not said to make the bad guys change their minds,  You seem so convinced that you can say the right thing to stop the bloodshed, I want to hear it.

Thank you for your feedback.
No, I am neither a progressive nor a liberal.
I am a Muslim. Perhaps as backwards as a raghead can get. I am a bad guy.
The “bad guys” don't want any Jews or Christians, they want to chop off hands and legs and have 6th century laws rule over the world and worst of all, they have an aliance with Mr. Evil and Mini-me. In fact, last I heard is that they took Santa Clause as a hostage in North Pole. These savage Muslims have no shame :)

Sarcasm aside, Media plays a major role in shaping our views and defining “bad guys” and “good guys”. While we wonder why “they don't want a peaceful co-existance”…they wonder the same thing about us.

Peace be with you
